Context
Recycle4Change (R4C) is a charitable organisation promoting sustainability through container recycling. They required a digital platform to manage bin tracking, fleet operations, payments, and impact reporting.
Challenge
- Capture diverse needs of customers, admins, and drivers.
Replace manual processes with a scalable software solution. - Ensure accessibility and features for environmental and social impact (e.g., donations, badges).
Approach
1. Defined a clear product vision to guide development.

2. Built a quarterly roadmap to stage four releases.

3. Created personas representing customer and admin needs.

4. Developed a story map to visualise features and priorities.

5. Built a product backlog with 10+ epics and 30+ user stories in Jira


6. Wrote acceptance criteria and decomposed stories for first release

7. Adopted Agile BA mindset: iterative delivery, reprioritisation, and continuous stakeholder feedback
Outcome
Delivered a requirements management pack including product vision, roadmap, personas, story maps, prioritised backlog, and acceptance criteria. This gave R4C a structured path to development, ensuring the solution could deliver measurable sustainability and community impact.
